A beautiful Chagigas HaSiyum was held this week in the Oholei Torah Mesivta Zal as the Shiur Aleph talmidim celebrated the completion of Maseches Sukkah and marked the successful conclusion of their first year in Mesivta.
The event drew a large crowd of fathers and sons who gathered together to celebrate a year of limud haTorah and avodas Hashem.
The Siyum was made by HaTomim Danni Pontos. Danni also shared a sicha of the Rebbe connected to the conclusion of the masechta. He highlighted the importance of completing a mesachta of Gemara and immediately continuing onward in the next masechta.
Words of inspiration were shared by Rabbi Fishel Oster, father of one of the talmidim, along with Rabbi Moshe Silman, Menahel; Rabbi Eli Oster, Sgan Menahel; and Rabbi Mendel Blau, Roish Moissed. The speakers reflected on the many accomplishments of the talmidim and the tremendous growth, dedication, and commitment they demonstrated throughout their first year in Mesivta.
The program also included special recognition of the rebbeim and staff members whose guidance, encouragement, and personal investment helped shape and inspire the talmidim over the course of the year.
The seudah concluded with the presentation of certificates to the talmidim, recognizing their dedication and accomplishments throughout their first year in Mesivta. Families and staff joined together in celebrating this meaningful milestone and the completion of Maseches Sukkah.
The Siyum served as a fitting culmination to a year filled with limud haTorah, yiras Shamayim, and Chassidishe hanhaga, while inspiring the talmidim to continue advancing in their learning and accomplishments in the years ahead.
