Today is a historic and joyful day as Oholei Torah celebrates its 70th birthday. Seventy years of chinuch. Seventy years of shaping lives. Seventy years of building generations rooted in Torah, Chassidus, and purpose.
The celebration is alive throughout the yeshiva today as talmidim across all divisions mark the birthday with special programs, music, and meaningful moments created just for them. The halls are filled with excitement, pride, and simcha as students celebrate being part of something much bigger than themselves. Mechanchim led a specially prepared curriculum exploring the history of Oholei Torah, the Rebbe’s vision in founding the Yeshiva, and the enduring tachlis that continues to guide it. In that spirit, talmidim across the Yeshiva took personal hachlata, committing to meaningful growth and action for at least seven days, turning celebration into purpose and inspiration into practice.
This evening, the celebration extends beyond the preschool and cheder divisions. Beis Medrash Oholei Torah is hosting a special Leil Shishi 7 hour Torah-thon, open to the community. Anash and Temimim are invited to join together in chavrusa learning, special shiurim by Rabbi Simon Jacobson and Rabbi Mordechai Dinerman, 7 raffles on the hour, and leil shishi hot spread.
