Mishnas Mordechai, a project of Igud Menahalei Yeshivos, was established to perpetuate the memory of the shluchim, HaRav Gavriel Noach and Rivka Holtzberg, Hy”d.
Selected talmidim from grades 5 through 7 of Oholei Torah, Ohr Menachem, and United Lubavitch Yeshiva of Crown Street studied Mishnayos each evening as part of the Yeshivas Erev program. After every two perakim, the talmidim took a written test and received a monetary deposit into their personal G’mach account.
Last Sunday, all of the talmidim who participated in the Mishnas Mordechai program were treated to a beautiful seudah at Oholei Torah. The 7th grade talmidim celebrated a Siyum on the entire Seder Nashim and were presented with certificates recognizing this special achievement.
The event was attended by principals, fathers, and grandfathers. Yossi Osdoba recited the Rebbe’s Kapital, and Levi Okunov made the Siyum, followed by a Hadran based on a sicha of the Rebbe.
The Maggidei Shiurim were recognized for their tremendous dedication and efforts throughout the year.
The event inspired all in attendance to further strengthen their commitment to limud haTorah with renewed chayus.
The talmidim were presented with certificates recognizing the completion of the entire Seder.
Mishnas Mordechai is partially sponsored by the Mahpour family, l’ilui nishmas Mordechai ben Yisroel Chaim Mahpour.
